The Alvis Photography Story
Alvis, the founder of Alvis Photography, started his career in School and Events photography back in early 1980's in St. Petersburg, Russia. Prior to this, Alvis earned a degree in photo-journalism and published a number of his works in Stock Photography. Later on he decided to expand his business offerings to add video service since it became in great demand. By that time he met Alex, a professional videographer, who was specializing in broadcasting news for one of the two major Russian TV News channels. He also runs some video projects for the San Francisco based “Royal Weddings" company. For the past 20 years, using their worldly experience and complementary skills, both Alvis and Alex have teamed together to provide superb photography and video services for weddings, corporate and special events and model portfolios. In the mid-90s, the winds of change brought both of them to the United States and that was the rebirth of Alvis Photography & Video, now a fashionable mix of the sophisticated flavor of classic European style and dynamism of American journalistic photography. The venture that was launched over 25 years ago has turned into a unique phenomenon of unconditional devotion and infinite creativity. All of their knowledge and experience combines to shape the most precious moments of people's lives into emotional memories by means of Alvis Photography & Video. |
